The children, Matua Hone and I have  been constructing the purpose for our weekly meetings and this is what we have so far .......

• To form friendships with other people
• To learn more about our Māori culture
• To learn some forms of Kapa Haka

We are encouraging each person in our group to stand up and introduce themselves in Te Reo.

We are also learning to whakatau new people into our space - Te Ako Pohutukawa
